Shouta Kanehira is an urban designer and researcher with professional experience spanning architecture, urban design, large-scale development, and interdisciplinary design practice. He has worked at Tange Associates, HKS Architects, Index Consulting, and Overland Partners, contributing to major architectural and urban-development projects in Japan, the United States, Taiwan, and across Asia.
In 2023, he founded URBAN PATCH, an independent design and research practice exploring architecture, urban environments, technology, and public life.
